About
Amy Nauiokas is the Founder and CEO of Anthemis Group and Founder and Chair of Archer Gray.
Anthemis was the first investment platform focused on the digital transformation of financial services, and today it is among the most active in the industry. Amy and Anthemis focus on businesses contributing to a more resilient, just, and equitable financial system. Current investments include Betterment and Happy Money, and exits include Currencycloud (to Visa), Climate Corporation (to Monsanto), Flo Technologies (to Moen), Zoopla (IPO), and Power (to Marqeta). Amy serves on the boards of multiple Anthemis portfolio companies and is a trusted advisor to many others. She served as CEO and Chair of Anthemis Digital Acquisitions, an ESG-focused special purpose acquisition corporation (SPAC) that is led entirely by women.
Amy is also the Founder and Chair of Archer Gray, a media company focused on bringing new, diverse, and innovative stories to life. Archer Gray projects have been collectively nominated for five Academy Awards and more than a dozen Tony Awards and have been premiered and celebrated at film festivals around the world.
Before founding Anthemis and Archer Gray, Amy was CEO and Managing Director of Barclays Stockbrokers, led the global e-commerce business at Barclays Capital and was Senior Managing Director and Partner at Cantor Fitzgerald.
In 2010, Amy founded the Bubble Foundation, a New York City non-profit focused on using public school classrooms to expand access to healthy, local, and nutritious food. Amy served as chair of Bubble until its groundbreaking "merger" with Edible Schoolyard, the food and nutrition education organization founded by Alice Waters.
Above all and across many industries, Amy is a catalyst for systems change — deploying financial, human, and intellectual capital to create a more vibrant, equitable, inclusive, and just society.
Amy earned a B.A. in International Studies from Dickinson College and an M.A. in International Business from Columbia University, where she previously taught in the business school.
